Vision

The Together program uses science and technology as a platform to bring together Arab and Jewish children, enriching their educational experiences and creating a space where they can engage in collaborative learning and develop a mutual positive perception of each other. The program fosters learning, collaboration, and meaningful connections.

Activity

Technoda, the Israeli Medicine and Science Museum, is one of Israel’s largest scientific centers. Etablished in 1986 in the heart of the Givat Olga neighborhood, as part of the national “Project Renewal” initiative with the aim of enriching children from underprivileged neighborhoods and exposing them to science and technology.
Today, Technoda hosts around 300,000 visits annually of students from around Israel. Technoda runs morning activities during the school day, after-school activities in the framework of the Youth Science Program, and special programs for students in subjects such as medicine, computers (including programing and cyber), classic and modern physics, chemistry, electronics, and more.
Moreover, Technoda serves as a “home away from home” for hundreds of children every day, providing them with a warm meal after school, help with homework, and additional enrichment activities until the evening hours. Without these activities, many of these children would likely be pushed to the edges of society and fall into crime.
Technoda provides a socializing, educational and scientific environment for children and youth from a range of backgrounds: new immigrants and Israeli-born, religious and secular, children living in a city or a kibbutz, Jews and Arabs. Technoda is also accessible to populations with special needs.
