Vision

Our vision is to empower Druze youth in Israel by nurturing their Israeli Druze identity and fostering a sense of pride in both their Druze heritage and their Israeli citizenship. We are committed to instilling values of truth, justice, morality, and equality, while emphasizing respect for all people.
We envision a society where Druze youth serve as active, responsible citizens of Israel, embracing the importance of serving in the IDF.

Activity

On July 27, 2024, a devastating rocket attack in Majdal Shams shocked the community, resulting in the tragic deaths of 12 Druze youths, including 3 members of the Druze Youth Movement, and leaving several others injured. The attack caused profound trauma, triggering widespread feelings of insecurity, anxiety, and uncertainty. In response to this painful reality, it became clear that emotional support was urgently needed for the affected youth and their families.
The Druze Youth Movement initiated an educational and therapeutic program designed to provide emotional support and develop life skills for young members (grades 4-12) in Majdal Shams and their parents. Spanning 10 months, the program consists of weekly two-hour meetings that include experiential workshops and sessions with psychologists and trauma specialists. The program will serve 150 participants.
The program’s goals are to:
• Provide emotional support to those impacted by the tragedy.
• Strengthen a sense of belonging and personal resilience.
• Equip the youth with life skills to cope with everyday challenges and emotional difficulties.
• Foster stronger connections between the youth, their families, and the community.
• Offer recreational activities to provide respite and help in the healing process.
Through this program, participants will receive professional guidance, with a focus on mental resilience and strengthening family bonds, creating a supportive environment to help the community heal and regain hope.
