Rabbi David Basok

Rabbi David Basok is the director of Rabbinic & Community Development Programs in the CER.

David was born and raised in Jerusalem. He studied 3 years in Yeshiva, served in the IDF for 5 years, and received his BA in Jewish History from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

David served as a rabbi in the Jewish community in Wrocław, Poland for 4 years and as the head of Jewish education in the Jewish community in Tallinn, Estonia for 3 years.

David is married to Danielle and they have 3 children – Noam, Gili and Roni.
