This year’s Film Bus is driven by a deep commitment to collective teamwork, dedication, and a profound love for cinema. We believe that to inspire others and strengthen community resilience, we must first embody those values within our crew. By bringing together a passionate team of student filmmakers, we aim to channel our shared devotion into a powerful force for social connection. We seek to bring this vital energy to the communities we visit, using the magic of moving images to foster solidarity, inspire creativity, and create a lasting human bond.
Activity
The Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival (TISFF) is one of the largest and most influential student film festivals in the world. Held annually at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque and other venues around Israel, the festival promotes emerging voices in cinema, encourages intercultural dialogue, and supports freedom of artistic expression. Its program includes international and Israeli film competitions, workshops, retrospectives, and industry events.
As part of its commitment to social engagement and accessibility, the festival runs The Film Bus Project – a five-day cinematic journey through communities across Israel, particularly in underrepresented or conflict-affected regions. The project brings free outdoor film screenings, creative workshops, and community encounters, aiming to make cinema a tool for connection, healing, and inspiration.
