Vision
For a school assignment, 11-year-old Nina meets Paul Sobol, one of the last survivors of Auschwitz.
A promise fuels this project, which Nina is now pursuing, and which aims to contribute to the duty of remembrance by becoming a “memory keeper” herself.
Despite her young age, Nina is determined and embarks on a long journey that will lead her to fulfill her oath and commitment.
Activity
Ring Prod is a production company who has mainly made feature live action films for children, teenagers and families who won more than 60 awards in more than 260 festivals.
We develop a particular project with “Vieille Âme – Old Soul”. We follow the creation of a play with this important question : “who will tell the Shoah once the survivors will be all dead ?”
Another goal is to make a filmed documentary of this creation, from the beginning until the play will be on stage. The play is written and we have already made public readings of the play to test it in front of an audience.
A theater company is now involved in the project.
Through the play and the documentary, we want to be part of the memory transmitters.
