Vision
The project is rooted in the belief that young people need not only to learn, but to connect. By bringing together young minds from different backgrounds, it creates a space where they can share ideas, recognise themselves in others, and feel part of a community. Through these encounters, they build confidence, develop critical thinking, and discover their place in the world.
Activity
The Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg (FJSL) develops programmes that support young people throughout their scientific journey, from early curiosity to international engagement.
Through La pépinière, young talents are introduced to scientific thinking and guided in their first explorations. Science:next offers workshops, mentoring, and hands-on experiences to develop critical thinking, resilience, and collaboration skills. The National Jonk Fuerscher Contest provides a platform for young researchers to present and refine their projects, while the Luxembourg International Science Expo (LISE) brings together participants from around the world, fostering exchange, inspiration, and a strong sense of community.
Together, these programmes create meaningful learning environments where young people can explore science actively, connect with peers, and grow both scientifically and personally.
