Vision
To strengthen Jewish identity among young leaders by giving them the knowledge, confidence, and educational tools needed to understand, live, and transmit Judaism. Through leadership training, Jewish learning, and shared experiences, the project aims to prepare a new generation to carry Jewish values with clarity, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility within their communities and in wider society.
Activity
The 2025 EEIF Training Programs are designed to educate and empower the next generation of Jewish volunteer leaders in France. Bringing together nearly 1,000 participants aged 14 to 22, the program combines leadership training, scouting pedagogy, and Jewish learning across multiple levels of responsibility.
A central innovation of this edition is the integration of Ta Shma, a Jewish study circle that enriches the training through pluralistic, accessible, and high-level Jewish content. Through study sessions, workshops, and educational prayer experiences, participants are invited to reflect on Jewish identity, transmission, and responsibility in today’s context.
In a time of rising antisemitism and growing demand for meaningful Jewish education, the project equips young leaders with tools they will transmit to hundreds of children during camps and year-round activities. By strengthening knowledge, confidence, and reflection, the program contributes to building resilient, engaged, and responsible Jewish leadership.
