Vision
Born from the understanding that injury reaches far beyond the wounded themselves, the project recognizes the deep impact on families, partners, and communities. While many organizations offer medical, financial, or psychological aid, Twice with Love provides a sustained human presence, ensuring no wounded soldier or family feels forgotten. It also serves as a connective layer, linking families to trusted NGOs and services through ongoing, relationship-based support.
Activity
The project’s goal is to provide consistent, personal support to 6,000 wounded soldiers and to the people closest to each of them – their families, partners, and caregivers. Altogether, the initiative aims to reach around 60,000 individuals, building a broad, human network of care that surrounds every wounded soldier.
The project will operate through a structured, coordinated volunteer framework. Volunteers will visit twice a day, morning and evening, providing companionship, assistance with daily routines, and short moments of relief for the family members who provide continuous care.
The activity will be coordinated through regional teams led by professional social workers and community coordinators, who will ensure continuity, meaningful engagement, and sensitivity to each family’s unique needs.
In addition to the ongoing daily presence, Twice with Love – פַּעֲמַיִם בְּאַהֲבָה will offer several weekend retreats each year for the wounded and their families, providing time for rest, empowerment, and togetherness in a supportive community environment.
