Vision

Elifelet believes that asylum-seeking and status-less children in Israel deserve the chance to experience a safe, stable, and nurturing childhood. Its Educational Program offers a wraparound model that integrates academic support, extracurricular activities, and targeted psycho-social assistance—helping children who face marginalization and exclusion to build resilience, recognize their strengths, and look ahead to a more secure and hopeful future.

Activity

Elifelet’s Educational Program serves approximately 200 asylum-seeking and status-less children, through 13 after-school clubs in South Tel Aviv, providing academic support, enrichment, and social-emotional guidance in a safe, nurturing environment.
Elifelet’s approach goes beyond basic tutoring: it addresses educational and developmental gaps while restoring children’s confidence and sense of self-worth. A dedicated pedagogical team develops diverse, inclusive curricula, and small-group instruction, along with individualized mentoring, supports each child’s academic and emotional growth. Whether learning math, exploring robotics, or playing the violin, children are given the tools to imagine and pursue their dreams despite the instability surrounding their lives.
Building on this foundation, the Safe Seasons Project offers holiday and summer camps for 200 children, providing joyful and structured environment when school is out and protecting them from being left unsupervised in unsafe neighbourhoods. Each day combines creative workshops in arts, music, and drama, educational reinforcement, outdoor games and sports, nutritious meals, and special outings such as “Happening Days” and pool trips.
The camps provide children with safety, well-being, and opportunities for social and emotional growth. They ensure that children remain supported, engaged, and cared for throughout school breaks, extending Elifelet’s commitment to nurturing and strengthening vulnerable children year-round.
