Vision

Amid growing division in Israeli society, this year’s Film Bus Project focuses on the unifying power of creativity and human connection. We chose communities that reflect Israel’s rich cultural mosaic, aiming to bridge gaps and bring people together. Through these encounters, we seek to foster solidarity, strengthen human bonds, and show how cinema can be a powerful tool for dialogue, connection, and social renewal.

Activity

The Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival (TISFF) is one of the largest and most influential student film festivals in the world. Held annually at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque and other venues around Israel, the festival promotes emerging voices in cinema, encourages intercultural dialogue, and supports freedom of artistic expression. Its program includes international and Israeli film competitions, workshops, retrospectives, and industry events.

As part of its commitment to social engagement and accessibility, the festival runs The Film Bus Project – a five-day cinematic journey through communities across Israel, particularly in underrepresented or conflict-affected regions. The project brings free outdoor film screenings, creative workshops, and community encounters, aiming to make cinema a tool for connection, healing, and inspiration.
