Vision
Our vision is that every Jewish child in the Amsterdam area receives a meaningful Jewish education in a warm and positive environment — one that inspires joy, pride, and connection. We aim to make Judaism so engaging and relevant that it naturally becomes part of who they are, and something they will want to carry with them into their adult lives.
Activity
We run a weekly Sunday program for children ages 4 to 12, where they learn to read Hebrew (Alef-Bet), explore Jewish holidays, history, identity, and tradition.
Children are divided into age-appropriate groups, each with dedicated and caring teachers. For Hebrew reading, we offer a personalized learning track, so that each child can progress at their own pace and reach their full potential.
Our general lessons are designed to spark excitement so that the children take something with them to speak about it at home.
A key goal that runs through every part of our Sunday program is that the children should truly enjoy being here.
In addition to Sunday school, we organize many other activities throughout the year for children, teens, and families — as well as ongoing support and pastoral care.
