Vision

To create a society where blind and visually impaired individuals are fully included, economically independent, and empowered to live with dignity. Through awareness, training, and community engagement, we aim to eliminate stigma, promote equal opportunities, and demonstrate that every person—regardless of disability—has the ability to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

Activity

Peula is at the forefront of changing societal perceptions of disability, fostering greater understanding of the abilities and needs of visually impaired individuals, and promoting a more inclusive, tolerant society.

Our work shows that everyone, regardless of disability, has the right to contribute meaningfully to the workforce.

Our programs create new opportunities for change with every interaction.

-We provide employment opportunities for professionally trained holistic therapists who are blind or visually impaired, giving treatments to corporate employees and to the general public at community fairs.

– Peula workshop lecturers present the unique challenges of being blind or visually impaired to varied audiences of adults and school children around the country. The presentations include blindness simulation activities; an explanation of various technologies and assistive devices used in daily life including a demonstration with a guide dog.

-In addition, our main purpose is raising awareness among adults and the elderly population about the issue of vision impairment, while also introducing them to the practical assistance available whether physical, technological, or through various assistive devices.
