Vision

We envision an Israeli society where Judaism is a living, evolving part of everyday life, rooted in tradition and open to new ideas. Through learning, community, and action, we aim to shape Israel’s next generation of Talmidei Hachamim that will bring peace to the world.

Activity

Shahar Fisher works to make Judaism a living and creative part of contemporary and futureIsraeli life. As the founder and head of Beit Midrash Ehad Ha’am, he brings together serious Jewish learning, community life, and social engagement. His work creates space for young adults to explore Jewish-Israeli identity, develop their own voices, and turn ideas into meaningful action.
A central part of his work is supporting the next generation of Jewish-Israeli educators, creators, and community leaders. He leads an advanced fellowship for young adults who want to teach, create, and lead in the fields of Jewish learning, culture, and community. The program takes the traditional beit midrash beyond study alone, turning it into a place where participants can develop original ideas and bring them to life. Shahar helps them strengthen their skills in working with Jewish texts, teaching, and developing new initiatives. Each participant receives personal guidance in shaping a concrete project and building a professional path in the Jewish-Israeli world.
