Pessah 2025 – פסח תשפ״ה

איננו יודעים מה יוליד יום. מה המלחמות, המהמורות והמריבות יניבו. מתי תופסק הלחימה, מתי יוחזרו אחרוני החטופים. איזה חותם כל מה שפוקד אותנו מזה שנה וחצי יותיר בנו  ובדורות הבאים.ם

אנחנו ניצבים בפני פרשת דרכים והתחושה היא שהיסטוריית עמנו היא שרשרת של פרשות דרכים. מאז יציאת מצריים ועד להקמת מדינת ישראל. הפעם כל פניה לצד זה או אחר נראית כה גורלית עד שאנחנו מתקשים לנקוט עמדה.ה

איננו מנסים להיות ממלכתיים בכל מחיר, אנחנו באמת נבוכים ורק פעלתנות החברה האזרחית שממשיכה להתגייס מפיחה בנו ציפייה לאמנה חדשה שתאחה את הקרעים בקרבנו.ו

פסח מאיץ בנו להתכנס לסדר חדש ולעשות כל מה שאל ידינו על מנת להרחיק את האיומים השונים ולהשכין שלום בתוכנו. אנחנו בטוחים שישראל תשוב להיות ארץ טובה, פורחת ומאירה.ה

Chers partenaires,

Nous ne savons pas ce que l’avenir nous réserve. Quels seront les résultats des guerres, des querelles et des obstacles qui perturbent nos vies. Quand la guerre prendra-t-elle fin, quand les derniers otages seront-ils libérés. Quelles seront les séquelles de tout ce que nous vivons depuis un an sur nous et sur les générations à venir.
Nous nous trouvons à une croisée de chemins et notre sentiment est que l’histoire de notre peuple est une chaîne de carrefours. Depuis la sortie d’Égypte jusqu’à la création de l’État d’Israël. Cette fois, la direction dans un sens ou l’autre semble si déterminante que nous avons du mal à prendre position. Nous n’essayons pas d’être pluralistes à tout prix, nous sommes vraiment embarrassés et seule l’activité de la société civile qui continue de se mobiliser ravive en nous l’espoir d’un nouveau contrat social qui raccommoderait les fractures entre nous.
Pâque nous invite à nous rassembler pour un nouveau séder – ordre en hébreu – et à tout faire pour écarter les différentes menaces et instaurer la paix en nous et entre nous.
Nous sommes convaincus qu’Israël redeviendra une terre bonne, prospère et lumineuse.

Dear partners,

We do not know what the day will bring. What the wars, disputes, and obstacles will yield. When the fighting will stop, when the last hostages will be returned. What marks all that has befallen us for the past year and a half will leave on us and on future generations.
We stand at a crossroads and the feeling is that the history of the Jewish people is a chain of crossroads. Since the exodus from Egypt to the establishment of the State of Israel. This time every turn to one side or the other feels so fateful that we find it hard to take a stand. We are not trying to embrace all of you at all costs, we are genuinely embarrassed and only the activism of civil society that continues to mobilize instills in us hope for a new covenant that will mend the rifts among us.
Passover urges us to convene for a new seder – a new order – and do everything in our power to distance the various threats and establish peace within us.
We are confident that Israel will again become a good, thriving, and radiant land.
