Vision
Lishma’s Public Policy Seminar envisions a generation of ultra-Orthodox women leaders who engage confidently in Israel’s civic life—bridging faith, ethics, and public responsibility. Through dialogue, learning, and reflection, participants deepen their understanding of public systems, strengthen their moral voice, and lead with integrity to build a just, inclusive, and resilient Israeli society.
Activity
The Lishma Leadership Seminar on Public Policy is a two-day intensive program empowering ultra-Orthodox women leaders to strengthen professional and ethical public service in Israel. Combining expert lectures, experiential workshops, and reflective dialogue, participants explore governance systems, ethical leadership, and civic responsibility. Each year, about 45 women from municipalities, NGOs, and community organizations take part, representing diverse backgrounds. The seminar cultivates knowledge, confidence, and collaboration—equipping graduates to translate learning into public action that promotes inclusion, social cohesion, and responsible leadership within the ultra-Orthodox community and across Israeli society.
