Rabbi Yitzhak Nissim is the Chairman of the Israeli Zionist Pre-Military Academy Council, the umbrella organization of the 52 recognized pre-military academies in Israel.
Rabbi Yitzhak Nissim founder and head of Mechinat ELISHA Pre-Army Tora Academy for 20 years of existence.
As part of his position Rabbi Nissim founded various national projects such as: “Believers in the Police”- A project in which graduates of the pre-military programs will be integrated into officer positions in the Israel Police, Rabbi Nissim also accompanies his graduates after their military services, both as a rabbi (officiating rabbi, a Guide and teacher) And as an educator (Integration of graduates in new projects, joint meetings, the program of army graduates).
Before he was elected chairman, he coordinated and managed the religious pre-military academys for 10 years and established the Forum of pre-military torah academy.
Rabbi Yitzhak Nissim served in his past in shiryon, hativa 401, and today serves as officer in headquarters of hativat hi”r in miluim. In addition, he also serves as the halachic rabbi and advisor at the Poah Institute in Jerusalem (the Institute for Fertility and Medical Ethics).
Rabbi Nissim is an educator and leader, an exemplary personality for his students in particular and for young people in general, to be intellectuals in the world of action, drawing forces from the world of Torah and Jewish law.
Rabbi Yitzchak Nissim is married to Orit and has eight children. He lives in the yeshuv Talmon in Binyamin.
