Activity
“Spark of Faith” Mechina was established in collaboration with the Ministry of Welfare. The Mechina is designated for the ultra-Orthodox dropouts’, who have dropped out of the yeshivas, but still, wish to succeed in life, and serve in the IDF.
Our goal is to bring back these young adults’ confidence and belief in themselves, encourage them to love others and to make the world a better place, to provide these young men the tools to shape their identity and future, teach them to respect every person and to be socially involved and contributing citizens of the Israeli society.
This led to the idea of establishing an Ultra-Orthodox military preparatory academy (‘Mechina’), which is more of a preparatory academy for life.
