– Encourage the publication of excellent books in the field of Jewish thought accessible to a wide audience, including outside the academic environment

– Raise the interest in Jewish thought among the wider public
Activity
Once every two years (in exceptional cases every three years), $25,000 will be awarded to the author of the best original book in Jewish Thought, published in Hebrew in the previous three years, that is suitable for a wide readership.
The Prize committee is chaired by Prof. Moshe Idel.
