The book she presents today is inspired by the pedagogical adventure she carried out with her high school pupils. It is addressed to teachers and students but also to any reader interested in History and creativity.

Myriam Maman

Born in Fès, Morocco, Myriam Maman lives in Paris. She graduated in Russian and English and has been teaching English in middle and high school for nearly thirty years. She is also passionate about painting which is an important part of her life.

Myriam Maman teaches English in secondary school. Passionate about creativity, earlier in her career, she staged fairy tales in English with her primary school pupils; the performances took place at the end of the school year in a theatre.

Later, she encouraged her pupils’ creative writing, which led to several in-house publications. She chose to tackle the teaching of the Holocaust through the study of a tale written and illuminated in the Lodz Ghetto, Poland, under the Third Reich. That study gave rise to a school book and to an exhibition in the school library and IT room.
