Vision
KamaTech established to facilitate the integration of young Haredi men and women in the forefront of the Israeli professional hi-tech workforce. The program supports Haredi students throughout their studies, assists them in finding jobs in hi-tech companies, and encourages entrepreneurship amongst Haredi hi-tech professionals. KamaTech provides young members of the Haredi community an opportunity to become productive, and thus promotes their inclusion in society.
Activity
* A grant of 20K NIS
*Large and successful startups “adopt” the ultra-Orthodox startups, and provide them with work space and Ongoing support.
* Each start-up linked to a mentor which accompany him closely throughout the period.
* Accompaniment of prominent lawyers and accountants in Israel
*Kama-Tech’s Coalition has 50 giant high-tech companies, and is acting to open doors for the startups with the big companies
* Demo Day: At the end of the period, a big conference in which the startups present before senior Israeli investors
* At the end of the period, there are two events of Demo Day abroad in addition to the event in Israel, one in New York and the second in the Silicon Valley.
