The Israel Film Archive – Jerusalem Cinematheque is the national body concerned with the visibility, usability, and sustainability of Israel’s audio-visual heritage. Our mission is to collect, preserve, and share our national audio-visual collection – past, present, and future – providing learning opportunities, visual materials, and creative tools. The collections contain films dating back to 1896 and continue to grow as new films are assimilated into the digital archive, among them: narrative and documentary films, newsreels, informational movies, student films, and more. space where users can become.
