Vision
Children with severe disabilities, for whom the realities of life present a difficult daily path, are created as much in the image of the Lord as the rest of us. The special, beautiful children of Aleh, lofty souls in broken bodies, cannot even thank those who help them. They push us to act beyond the regular measure of success. They draw forth from us the best that we have and the best that we are, by giving us the opportunity to perform unconditional loving-kindness.
Activity
Aleh Jerusalem’s High-Dependency Wing was developed to offer severely disabled children with complex medical conditions an enriched life within the safe environment they require. The modern hospital wing enables the children to remain within a warm, familiar surrounding and continue daily routines despite their medical conditions. In addition, the children benefit from a wide range of rehabilitative services, special education and social activities, enabling them to realize their potential and live a quality life so different from a regular hospital setting.
