גם פסח מאיץ בנו להיזכר ולהרהר. בעיקר על עבדות וחירות. במישור האישי לא פחות מאשר הלאומי. תוהים היכן עובר הגבול ביניהן. מתי העבודה משחררת ומתי היא משעבדת. מתי נופש נעשה לגסות, יצירה לִכפִייה. מתי הרצון חופשי באמת ומתי הוא מותנה לעייפה. ובכלל עד כמה אנחנו כלואים בדמותנו ובמצבנו, מתקשים לראות את הנולד ולהביט על בוא האביב. ה
לעיתים צריכים לספוג מכה, אחת מני רבות, כדי לשנות זווית ראייה, להתייחס לדברים מנקודת ראותו של האדם האחר – יהא קרוב או רחוק – כדי להבינו ולסייג את עמדתנו, להרחיב את האופקים שלנו ולהשביח את חירותנו. אבל לא רק מכות מביאות להתעשתות ולהתנעה מחדש. גם רגעי חדווה ונחת, כמו אותם רגעים של התעלוּת שחווינו בהתכנסות שנערכה לאחרונה בנתניה עם שותפינו הישראלים.ה
הייתם רבּים, כיבדתם אותנו בנוכחותכם, הִשׂכלתם להקשיב לאנשי רוח ולאנשי מעשה, להכיר זה את זה וליצור שותפויות ביניכם. כל אחת ואחד מכם יצא, כך אנו מקווים, עם תובנה אחת לפחות שתוציא אותו משגרת חייו ותלווה אותו בטיפוח מתמשך של חירותו האישית והמקצועית.ו

Dear friends and partners,
Passover urges us to remember and meditate. Especially about slavery and freedom. On the personal level no less than the national. Wondering where the line between them crosses. When work liberates and when it enslaves. When leisure turns into lurk, creativity into coercion. When the will is really free and when it is loaded with so many prejudices that it alienates itself. And in general how imprisoned we are in our character and condition, unable to foresee the future and to see the blossoming of the next spring.
Sometimes we have to suffer a plague, one of the ten, whatever their meanings, to change our point of view, to approach things from the other’s perspective – be it near or far – in order to understand and nuance our positions, broaden our horizons and improve our freedom. But it’s not just plagues that cause recovery and allow a new beginning. Moments of satisfaction and charm too, such as those we experienced during the gathering of our Israeli partners held recently in Netanya.
Many of you have honored us with your presence, you have listened to people of spirit and people of action. We hope that each of you has taken with him a remark or advice that will change his routine and accompany him in his personal and professional life towards a greater freedom of fulfillment and action.
